Check out Arlene Horton's Web site listed under the Links category to see photos of my book launch at The Pen and Brush Gallery as well as photos of the Composers, Authors and Artists of America (CAAA) event in New York.

As Guest Speaker at the CAAA event, I spoke about the writing process of my novel, followed by a book signing. Moreover, I gave a brief resume of the history of the Foreign Press Association (FPA) beginning unofficially with news coverage by expatriates writing home about the conquest of the American West, to its official inception in 1918 at the end of World War I, to its present day 90th year anniversary. Prominent journalists from the FPA attended this festive CAAA luncheon accompanied by lovely piano music played by Concert Pianist Georgette Lichtenstein.

As a guest speaker on the authors' panel at The International Women's Writing Guild Big Apple Writing Conference, rather than promoting my book, I decided to encourage people to follow their dreams. When the panel session was over, some men and women came up to me and told me how my message had inspired them.

It's springtime! Enjoy the colorful, blossoming trees and flowers, along with their beautiful fragrances wafting through the air.
